about
THE SPARK
The Mission
Broadway is dark. The Metropolitan Opera is quiet. Covid-19 has brought an entire industry to a screeching halt countrywide. Performing artists are facing the reality of needing diverse and reliable sources of income after the entire arts and entertainment industry shut down overnight.
Out of the prolonged darkness, sparks of entrepreneurial light have emerged as creative individuals start and build their own small businesses. Having witnessed these resilient artists rise up to meet the uncertainty of this difficult moment, we want to support, celebrate, and see them flourish as they create their new normal — and so, we proudly introduce: THE CATAPULT PROJECT.

To empower artists to build innovative businesses that create financial autonomy and give them the freedom to do work they love and share their art with the world!
